We always try our best as a family to support local businesses.

We are huge fans of all of Joe's restaurants in Gilbert... but since we moved to Ahwatukee... it was time to find some new spots.

A client told me about the Pomegranate Restaurant next to Trader Joe's this week, and I am so excited to go there with her soon....

But tonight...

We went to Hill Side Spot and to Zoyo... and I have nothing bad to say.

At Hill Side Spot the food is fresh! The waitress was telling us they only have a small frig/freezer. You can tell... the food was amazing. Even the corn rocks!

I should also add that they support all local shops as well... so everything they buy comes from locals!

As amazing as the desert looked at Hill Side Spot... we had promised the kids Yogurt... so we then went to Zoyo.

Again...wonderful!

They even have a dairy-free orange flavor that is really good. This says a lot coming from a chocolate lover.

You should try them... I am sure you will not be disappointed.
